Julie Bort over at Business Insider writes that Big Data Startups could easily display the big database players that power a $30 Billion dollar industry.
When it comes to big data, “size doesn’t matter,” Ravi Mhatre, managing director of venture firm Lightspeed Venture Partners just told Business Insider. We’re talking an industry today that’s probably $20 [billion] to $30 billion that I think, overnight, is going to be replaced by a completely new set of platforms,” he predicts.
