Recently named as one of the Top 20 Big Data Influencers by Forbes Magazine, Rich Brueckner is an avid writer, publisher, and technology pundit focused on high performance computing. He acquired inside-HPC.com in 2010 and has since expanded to include insideBIGDATA. With over 25 years of HPC experience at Cray Research, SGI, and Sun Microsystems, Rich is known to many in the industry as “the guy in the Red Hat.”
When he’s not working, Rich keeps busy writing fiction, cartoons, and parody films. You can check out his latest works: The Three Magi of Katrina, Seven Meals from Chaos, Jigsaw Falling into Place, and Bardo. Rich lives and works in Portland, Oregon.

Daniel D. Gutierrez is a Data Scientist with Los Angeles-based AMULET Analytics, a service division of AMULET Development Corp. He’s been involved with data science and Big Data long before it came in vogue, so imagine his delight when the Harvard Business Review recently deemed “data scientist” as the sexiest profession for the 21st century. Over the past 20 years Daniel has written for a several technology publications. He also taught computer science and database classes at UCLA Extension for over 15 years and is scheduled to teach “Introduction to R Programming” in early 2014. He also authored three computer industry books on database technology and it working on his 4th title, “Introduction to Machine Learning with R.” He also served as technical editor, columnist and writer at a major computer industry monthly publication for 7 years.

John Kirkley has over 25 years experience writing for the computer industry. Over the past 15 years Kirkley has focused on high performance computing (HPC) and advanced manufacturing technologies such as digital manufacturing, modeling, simulation and analytics (MS&A) and additive manufacturing. Client deliverables include articles, success stories, case histories, white papers, web content, advertorials, speeches, newsletters, video scripts and a variety of other content. Kirkley has the unique ability to understand complex technical subjects and translate them into content that is clear, concise, interesting and entertaining.

William Wallace is a 10+ year sales and marketing veteran who has specialized in the high tech world. An avid writer, Mr. Wallace has published a number of feature articles on the such varying topics as bike racing, men’s issues and music criticism. His interests include bike racing, hiking, Don DeLillo, and Miles Davis.
Wallace graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Urban Studies and studied at Oxford University in England under the Fellowship Program in Humanities.
Kevin brings over 20 years of publishing experience and is responsible for the business operations of insideHPC and insideBIGDATA. Working with sponsors and media partners he integrates valuable programs and resources for these online communities.
Prior to insideHPC Media, Kevin managed many successful online brands including Data Center Knowledge, Network World, AOL Computing Channel and PC World.
